Joshua Ortiz is a Vice President and Retail Support Consultant providing fulfillment support with the Consumer Lending Group for multiple processing, underwriting, and closing teams in Texas, Minnesota, Iowa, Colorado, Nebraska, and Washington State. He is responsible for serving as a key strategic consultant to the production senior leadership team, acting as a primary liaison for production and support partners, and driving consistent delivery for customers with a strict focus on performance, risk management, and action planning.
National Consumer Lending
The National Consumer Lending group consists of both Distributed and Centralized Retail distribution channels for the mortgage business. The two channels are home to nearly 20,000 sales, fulfillment and underwriting team members who serve customer, client and referral sources from more than 2,000 physical locations (in addition to phone and Internet services) in all 50 states. The group provides a full range of traditional and specialty mortgage solutions – including diverse segments, builder, renovation and Private Mortgage Banking – and also provides relocation and employee mortgage programs for many Fortune 500 companies.
Ortiz has been in the industry for over 12 years and joined Wells Fargo in 2006. Most recently, he led the mortgage fulfillment location overseeing underwriting and closing in Irving, TX providing operational support for the Texas markets.
Ortiz brings a great deal of passion for our communities and serves on the Serve Your City and Small Group Leadership Team for Covenant Church in Carrollton, Texas. He also serves as one of the Dallas leaders for Operation Turkey which provides meals to the homeless and less fortunate in 13 official cities and 6 states. He has also previously served as the chairman for the DFW Latin Connection Team Member Network and is an alumnus of the Wells Fargo Diverse Leaders Program.
