Jose Plascencia began his professional career within the finance industry with LSI Mortgage Plus. Upon leaving LSI he set his career path at Equity Prime Mortgage LLC. Plascencia continued to grow with more knowledge of the mortgage and banking industry while in the position of Secondary Marketing Analyst at Equity Prime. In this, in 2016, he took his first step as a loan officer, leaving Secondary, to pursue his business in mortgage sales. He quickly made a name for himself within not only the Atlanta area, but within the diversity groups he joined. Plascencia has held the position of Treasurer of NAHREP and is currently VP. Next year, in 2019, he will take the position of President for the Atlanta Chapter of NAHREP. "The Best Never Rest" is something you can find him saying while working within numerous organizations such as NAMAR, MBAG and NAMMBA. He wants to "Help Finance the American Dream" and it is no surprise he has been recognized as Top Producer within the Mortgage Bankers Association of Georgia (MBAG) and awarded the Gold award and Rising Star all within 2017. Plascencia is a resident of Gwinnett county where he enjoys being outdoors and fitness.
